TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Minimum order:

There are no minimums required for orders placed on www.bulbtronics.com.
For phone, fax or email orders of $25 or less, there is a small order charge of $10.00.
For phone, fax or email orders of $25 to $50, there is a small order charge of $5.00.

Terms:

A credit application is required to establish an open account with Bulbtronics. Payment is required within 30 days from date of invoice. C.O.D. transactions may be subject to a credit check.

Most credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. The use of a credit card is subject to charge card limitations and the approval of the Company prior to shipment. International shipments require prepayment.

Quotes: (i.e. saved shopping carts) will be saved for 30 days.

Past due: Past due balances are subject to a 1.5 % finance charge per month.

Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice. Bulbtronics reserves the right to refuse any order.
Orders shipped to NY, CA, FL or NV are subject to sales tax.

Tax exempt status: Accepted with copy of tax resale certificate faxed to 631-756-8385.
Certificate must be on file before order is shipped or applicable sales tax will be added.

Shipping / handling charges: Shipping and handling charges are applied to all orders. These charges are based on a customer's delivery preference, the cost of package materials applicable to product weight and size, and other special shipping and handling instructions. Most orders are shipped via Ground, unless otherwise specified. Bulbtronics will make every effort to ship within 24 hours. Note: Fluorescents up to 4 ft. in length must be shipped UPS Ground, UPS Red or UPS Blue. Bulbs longer than 4 ft. must be shipped via messenger or truck.

Shipping: FOB origin:

All damaged merchandise must be reported within 5 days. If the package is obviously damaged, customer should sign for the shipment as "damaged" and make a claim with the carrier. If the package shows no obvious signs of damage but the merchandise is damaged when the box is opened, contact Customer Service. The carrier is responsible for breakage in transit. Bulbtronics will assist in every possible manner in collecting claims for loss or damage.

Return policy:

Product must be returned with prior approval and issuance of a return material authorization number (RMA#). To obtain an RMA#, go on-line to Account Management (drop down on top of page), Account Settings, Return Merchandise Authorization or call 1-800-588-BULB x375. Issuance of a RMA# does not acknowledge a product defect or authorize credit to be taken. Product determined to be defective by the applicable manufacturer shall either be replaced or credit will be issued at the discretion of Bulbtronics. Product returned as defective, and is not, will be returned to the customer. Product returned due to ordering errors, or product no longer wanted by the customer, will be subject to a 25% restocking charge, provided that Bulbtronics agrees to take back the merchandise. Special orders may not be returned. No returns after 60 days.

Warranty:

Bulbtronics warrants solely to the purchasing party that the products sold by it shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, when given normal, proper and intended usage, for the scope of the warranty granted to Bulbtronics and its customers by the applicable product manufacturer.

Purchaser shall notify Bulbtronics of any product that Purchaser believes to be defective that is covered by the warranties set forth in this warranty statement. At Bulbtronics' option, such products shall be returned by Purchaser, transportation and insurance prepaid, to Bulbtronics. Based on examination and testing by the applicable product manufacturer, Bulbtronics shall repair or replace with the same or comparable product or issue an appropriate credit. In the event of a warranty adjustment, Bulbtronics shall pay appropriate shipping charges, when applicable, to return product to the Purchaser.

This warranty contains the entire agreement between the Purchasing party and Bulbtronics as to its terms. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, fitness or otherwise, which extend beyond the description on the face thereof. In no event will Bulbtronics be liable for any loss, or profits or any other incidental, special or consequential damages suffered by the Purchaser or its customer even if Bulbtronics has been advised of the possibility of such damages, nor for any claim against the Purchaser by any other party.

Security:

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We work to protect the security of your information by encrypting what you input. Bulbtronics maintains a digital certificate from, a leading provider of internet trust services, to guarantee that information provided is being transmitted in secure form to a www.bulbtronics.com web server. Bulbtronics is not responsible for any incorrectly submitted information or any actions that are the outcome of this incorrect information. It is the user's responsibility to protect and maintain their account and log in confidentiality. The user agrees to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under the user's account or log in.

Bulbtronics uses automated tools to log information about each visit and processes the information to determine such things like site performance, popular pages, most frequently searched products and other site performance characteristics. This information does not personally identify the individual user. This policy addresses www.bulbtronics.com only and not any of the links to other sites found on our Links page.
